Cinco Peso Training Group is excited to announce another great addition to our instructor cadre.  Please join us in welcoming Texas DPS Regional Director (ret.) Todd Snyder to the team.

Todd comes to us following an amazing 26 year career at DPS.  The first badge pinned to his chest was that of the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office.  Four years later, he joined DPS as a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper.  It wasn't long until a sergeant promotion came into the Criminal Law Enforcement division.
Investigator Snyder quickly promoted again into the Texas Rangers.  There he was issued the famed "Cinco Peso" badge like many Rangers before him dating back to 1823!

Todd excelled as a Ranger.  There, he and Cinco Peso TG co-owner, Brad Oliver, were founding members of the Ranger Recon Team battling transnational gangs and narcotic traffickers along the Rio Grande river.  Both men also served as original teamleaders of their respective regional SRT teams.
Todd’s talent was recognized and he was given greater responsibilities and following promotions.  Todd held the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, and finally Major.  Todd also served as the Assistant Chief of the Texas Rangers until his last promotion to Regional Director of the Central Texas Region.

Success in any venture is most often attributed to surrounding yourself with great talent.  Having others around you that further the team's mission and push established goals ahead.  That is exactly what we have created here at Cinco Peso Training Group.
